How we work
Maintaining confidentiality is a key priority for our service. You can rest assured that personal information is not discussed or shared without your permission unless there are circumstances where we would need to liaise with other professionals to help you or protect your (and/or others) health, safety and wellbeing.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and as such we comply with their rules and regulations.
Here at Enable Wellness Consultancy, we comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the GDPR 2016. We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the services you have requested from us. We will not pass your details on to any other companies or organisations.
After contacting us, as we do not have waiting lists, you will be given an appointment usually within a week from the first contact. This will be for an initial consultation that may be face-to-face, online or by phone, depending on your preferences.
Appointments are offered at different times of the day throughout the week. Following the initial consultation, when further appointments are required, these will be agreed with your therapist or coach.
All our sessions can be offered face-to-face at our office at Kings Court Centre or online using Skype, WhatsApp or FaceTime.
Model of Working
The model we use can be described in 5 steps:
Identify the issues and difficulties you experience by listening to what you have been through
Clarify and decide priorities for what has to change
Develop a plan together taking into consideration your style and preferences
Learn skills and new ways to tackle the issues that cause you difficulties
Apply the new skills to your circumstances to help you develop and adopt a new approach and/or behaviour
In therapy and coaching we believe in using what works, thus we regularly attend professional training to update our skills and knowledge, to ensure we offer the most effective treatments available.
