Simona Stokes
Simona Stokes -Counselling Psychologist, CBT and EMDR Therapist 

Hi I'm Simona. I am the Founder and Director of the Enable Wellness Consultancy and I am a qualified Counselling Psychologist. I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), EMDR and Integrative Psychotherapy. I hold professional registration and accreditation with a number of bodies, such as Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), British Psychological Society (BPS), British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). 

 

Over the years I have been working as a therapist in various settings including organisational, primary care mental health services, voluntary sector and private practice. Besides carrying out clinical work I have also held senior operational management positions in NHS, overseeing the delivery of countywide Primary Care psychological therapy services and Psychological Wellbeing services for NHS staff and other organisations. I have a keen interest in employee health and wellbeing as well as women's psychological health.

Dr Joanna Grave - Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Joanna is a highly skilled and experienced clinical psychologist with 35 years of service in the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS).  Joanna is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist and she is a member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Although Joanna has held senior positions of managerial, operational and strategic responsibility she has always maintained a strong clinical focus in her work. 

 

If you are a young person up to age 25, or a parent of a child, who is struggling with emotional or behavioural difficulties that are getting in the way of living life to the full, Joanna can offer an assessment and therapeutic intervention to help with a range of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and trauma, eating disorders, psychosis and bipolar disorder. She uses a broad cognitive behavioural approach, including play, stories and talking both directly with the young person and/or with parents.

Ramona Radu
Ramona Radu - Counselling Psychologist

Ramona is a Jungian oriented psychotherapist specialised in working with children, young people and adults and is registered with HCPC  as Counselling Psychologist. She is an experienced clinician, who worked in a number of different services including CAMHS, public schools, voluntary sector and private practice. She uses a wide range of therapeutic approaches such as Jungian (analytical), attachment-focused therapies and CBT and offers short or long term therapy supporting individuals who present with emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety disorders, relational and attachment difficulties.

Having lived and studied in different countries (Romania, Belgium, US and UK), Ramona is particularly interested in working with the identity and cross-cultural issues, immigration process, attachment and relational family difficulties, loss and bereavement.

Cristina Butnaru - Counselling Psychologist, Couples and Family Psychotherapist

Cristina is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and a Systemic Family and Couples Psychotherapist with over 15 years experience working with individuals, families and couples in the NHS (including Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services), schools, voluntary sector and private practice. Cristina holds professional registration with a number of professional bodies such as HCPC - Registered Counselling Psychologist, BPS - Chartered Psychologist and BACP - Registered Member.

Cristina uses a wide range of therapeutic approaches such as  CBT, EMDR, Systemic Family and couples therapy with a particular interest in working with attachment, emotional difficulties, addressing adverse life experiences that contribute to problems in daily living. Cristina is also experienced in supporting individuals managing work related stress, emotional exhaustion and burnout with an interest in employees health and wellbeing.

Dr Sue Wheeler
Dr Sue Wheeler - Professor in Psychotherapy and Counselling

Sue is well known in the counselling and psychotherapy professions particularly for her research and published work on clinical supervision. 

 

Sue has vast experience as a therapist in numerous settings but for the past 25 years has worked in universities organising and teaching on counselling and psychotherapy training and supervision courses. She has worked as a consultant to many diverse organisations and continues to provide consultative support, coaching and clinical supervision to individuals in a variety of professions. She is a fellow of BACP and an accredited practitioner. 

Dr Delia Cushway - Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Emeritus Professor of Clinical Psychology

Delia was Course Director of the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at the Universities of Coventry and Warwick. She is an experienced therapist and supervisor of many years standing. She has extensive publications in the areas of reflective practice, stress and coping, supervision, and dreams and nightmares.

 

Delia is an experienced trainer and has taught many workshops in areas such as resilience and stress management, self-assertion, working with dreams and nightmares, and Gestalt therapy. She provides clinical supervision and consultative support to individuals across a variety of professions. Delia is registered with the HCPC and is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Claire Dyson

Claire Dyson - Business Manager

Claire is an experienced business and administration manager who has developed her management career in the private and statutory sector.  She has a range of management qualifications and a degree in Psychology. 

 

For the last 15 years, Claire has worked in adult mental health services in the NHS.  During this time she has held roles as PA support to senior NHS managers, managing administrative staff and analysing business and performance data within mental health services. 

 

Claire is excited to be part of EWC and to be able to use her skills to assist in the delivery of the quality care and support provided to our clients.
